SLAY Media House, a multi-platform media company who’s endeavors have stemmed from their works in the queer and trans community (Queer and Trans People of Color). Offering an extensive array of media products across various channels including TV, mobile, digital, audio and print. SLAY spearheads a compelling collection of content with a diverse point of view to a wide-reaching, global audience.
To celebrate the artistry and creativity of the Black Queer and Trans community, Slay Fest is an event culminating independent films, shorts, documentaries, activist panels in celebration of queer and trans arts and culture. Aimed to promote awareness, foster dialogue, build community, and bring visibility to artists and themed work, the event will forge the gap between the queer community and the mainstream world, which will take place in New York City on June 16 — 23 2019.
SLAY TV and its founders Sean and Terry Torrington have been featured in The Huffington Post, Billboard, Out Magazine, Vibe, Oprah Winfrey Network, among others. With both created and curated content totaling more than 5,000 hours of programming including scripted, documentaries, and reality series, SLAY TV’s top 50 shows collectively boast over 1,331,245 subscribers with almost 200 million impressions and growing.
